History of Orkhon Script

The Orkhon alphabet, also known as the Orkhon-Yenisei script, is the oldest known Turkic writing system. It was primarily used by the Göktürks (Celestial Turks) between the 7th and 10th centuries. The most famous inscriptions are found on the Orkhon monuments in Mongolia.
